Wikidata:Client editing prototype/Special Cases

List of things we should look out for

• ​​{{Infobox telescope}}, the telescope mount is described by has parts of the class (P2670) telescope mount (Q1205231), qualifier instance of (P31).
• What is displayed in Wikidata is not necessarily the same as what is displayed in the infobox. E.g., the Douglas Adams infobox only shows referenced information, not just the highest-ranked ones. the editing tool should show the same as what is shown in the article, otherwise when people save the edit then they’ll get confused why it’s not the same as it was in the tool.
• There isn’t necessarily a one-to-one match between Wikidata values and infobox parameters. E.g., Template:Wikidata location pulls together 5 different Wikidata properties for a single row in an infobox. The extension should be able to handle this.
• We should be able to store property numbers within template data
• {{Vorlage|Infobox Software}} wäre so ein Fall. Die Tabellenzeile „Aktuelle Version“ wird aus den Parametern {{{AktuelleVersion}}} und {{{AktuelleVersionFreigabeDatum}}} befüllt, oder alternativ aus dem verbundenen Wikidata-Objekt, Aussage {{Wikidata|P348}} sowie dessen Qualifikator {{Wikidata|P577}}. Ich denke, es gibt relativ viele solcher Fälle, in denen eine Tabellenzeile aus mehreren Inputs zusammengebastelt wird. • Beispiel: Comoro. Die Suco-Infobox ist sehr speziell und so nicht auf andere Länder übertragbar. Eine sinnvolle Wikidata-Verwendeung wäre, die einzelnen Daten mit Wikidata zu verlinken, ebenso im Fließtext. Daten aus der Infobox werden in der deWP i.d.R. im Fließtext wiederholt. Wenn nur die Infobox verlinkt wird, gibt es in Box und Text plötzlich unterschiedliche Angaben. --JPF just another user 19:33, 27. Feb. 2018 (CET)
