Begrundelse
[edit]We lack good methods to link the senses of non-noun lexemes or link senses across word classes (e.g., hypernyms is within a word class). A "pertainym" is a concept found in the wordnet community, see https://globalwordnet.github.io/gwadoc/#pertainym and it would allow us to link some non-nouns together, specifically some adjectives to nouns and some adverbs to adjectives. Discussion
[edit]- Support I've never quite understood how to use periphrastic definition (P7219); this seems a lot simpler and relevant for a lot of contexts. ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:23, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith: same! @Fnielsen: Does this mean this proposal is to replace periphrastic definition (P7219) lexeme sense for periphrastic definition (P7220), link for periphrastic definition (P7221) or is it a complement? Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 07:31, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- No, it was not the idea to replace the periphrastic properties. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 13:58, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Fnielsen: Thanks for the clarification. So, how could this property and the periphrastic properties work together? (sorry in advance if it's obvious but I don't fully understand the seconds). Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 17:30, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- @VIGNERON: I think this property is mainly for adjectives and adverbs and their relations to nouns, while the periphrasis stuff is regarding noun-verb relations (mostly). But I could be wrong! ArthurPSmith (talk) 18:21, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
