- Discussion
- Comment See discussion on Wikidata:Property proposal/code - TomT0m is suggesting we have a property for each encoding. We do already have Unicode character (P487) which serves a similar purpose I suppose. ArthurPSmith (talk) 13:23, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Oppose: There are a lot of charsets. How about "in charset"/"code" with "code"/"in charset" qualifier? CC0 (talk) 18:55, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose as unnecessary. Unicode codepoints 0-255 represent exactly the same characters as ASCII codepoints 0-255 by design. So if a character has a Unicode codepoint ≤255 then it is an ASCII character and it's ASCII codepoint == its Unicode codepoint. Thryduulf (talk) 21:15, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
