Oppose The ID is about the picture not the artwork. For exemple there is https://www.photo.rmn.fr/archive/10-517532-2C6NU0QP63R7.html and https://www.photo.rmn.fr/archive/07-509475-2C6NU0CTMW1M.html . Sorry I don't get it. If it is know that the ID is for pictures not artworks, why the descitption claims that is an ID for artworks? - I was not aware of this proposition and I thank you for letting me know this has existed. I suppose the significant new fact would be something like what follows. That the people behind the new proposal do not care that there might be, from time to time, multiple IDs per artwork. I mean, what's the problem exactly? If there is more coverage than one page for some works, then perfect! More content means more resources for people using our items! That's how I see it eventually.
