- Motivation
Artnet (Q266566) is a service which lists art auction results. Freely-available pages such as the one in the example display galleries of artworks, many now in private collections. These pages link to pages on individual artworks, such as this one, with metadata such as date, size and type. The database is said to include over 320,000 artists. - Support. This looks like a great source for art data. The provenance data is likely to be very useful for those in the art world. YULdigitalpreservation (talk) 17:01, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
