- Motivation
We've got several articles from Spanish laws at all levels of government. The BOE is the Official Gazette and acts can be search easily with a ref such as http://www.boe.es/buscar/act.php?id=BOE-A-1999-23750 for Organic Law About Protection of Personal Data (1999) (Q11688993). BOE-A-1999-23750
is the unique reference to that act. I suggest we create this property as Identificator for that purpose. This is the first time for me here in WD:PP so please I apologize if I've done something wrong. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 18:54, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
- Discussion
- Is there a reason that this property is called reference instead of ID? Is everything that's referenced about laws? If so, can you incorporate that information into the description? ChristianKl (talk) 17:54, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: I am sorry but I don't understand what do you mean here. BOE-A-... is an unique identificator, yep, for acts published in the Spanish Official Gazete which include National and Autonomic acts (although autonomic gazetes exist and autonomic acts are published primary there as well). I've amended the description so it is clear that this is to be used as ID. Hope that this is what you meant. Regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 17:23, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- There are people who don't know what the "Spanish Official Gazete" happens to be. I don't think they currently get a better impression through the description. ChristianKl (talk) 21:46, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- I am not sure how to better the description. See Boletín Oficial del Estado for what the BOE is. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:26, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- If it helps: Boletín Oficial del Estado (Q2029273), instance of government gazette (Q2065227). It's usage would be alike that of European Case Law ID (P3570). Thanks, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:29, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
