Motivation
aka 'BirdFacts ID'
A data-rich resource from a highly-reputable organisation, British Trust for Ornithology (Q2925763). These pages list cited academic sources, and give other identifiers, plus links to third-party resources, including en.Wikipedia. They also act as a front-end for pages of monitoring data on BirdTrack (Q23918791) (e.g. [1], which are difficult for us to link to directly with an external-ID, because they have date-specific URLs.
