- Do we really need one property for every country? ChristianKl (talk) 22:48, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: It is not a by country division we have now. Some systems are used in several countries, some countries have several systems. The reason I would see to keep them in separate properties is that when a work is rated more than one times in the same system, it is easy enough now to indicate the most recent one by setting its rank preferred. If we store all content rating in one property not only would we need a large set of very complex constraints for it, the ranks would likely to become a mess quite quickly. Also, Wikipedia infoboxes are likely to include only one or two of these systems (the ones relevant in territories where the language is spoken)—of course Lua can sort this out if you have programmers to code it which you quite often don't.
