- Motivation
I came across http://www.omdb.org/ which aims at building a free collection of films under a creative common license. http://www.omdb.org/content/About looks like they share common value with Wikidata: gather knowledge so it can be redistributed.
They also have biographies and links for persons for example http://www.omdb.org/person/28641 . But most probably that should be a different property. Hashar (talk) 15:50, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
- Discussion
- Support. Copy edited. Note that the page given as an example includes a Wikipedia link, which should aid matching. And yes, IDs for people should be a separate property; as should their plot keywords (e.g. revenge (Q1712140) -> http://www.omdb.org/encyclopedia/category/6065 ). - thank you for the editing, the template was a bit scary and I wasn't sure what to fill in :] I did not notice the wikipedia link, that would definitely help for matching! Hashar (talk) 22:00, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
