Allowed values | (https?:\/\/|steam:\/\/|info|urn|skype|tel)[\wè\d\-\.,/\?=&:_%+#~;!А-яЁё()@|\[\]\*]*\$1[\w\d\-\.,/\?=&:_%+#~;!А-яЁё()@|\[\]()]* |
Example | MusicBrainz artist ID (P434) → http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artists/$1 |
- Motivation
BBC Music's URL for Pink Floyd (Q2306) is:
which reuses the value from MusicBrainz artist ID (P434) (i.e. "83d91898-7763-47d7-b03b-b92132375c47
"). We need a way to record the format of URLs from third party sites that re-use IDs in this way. Can be qualified with, say, operator (P137). The alternative is to overload the existing formatter URL (P1630) property, with qualifiers and ranking, like this. - Discussion
- Support having done some work on properties with multiple formatter URL's, I think having this separate property would be very helpful. ArthurPSmith (talk) 15:39, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
