Motivation

Comment I think the goal (and my wish) is to turn off abuse filters specific to certain properties as soon as contraints are well integrated with recent changes and input interface. Then, we won't need them anymore. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 08:50, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Sadly, I'm not sure the development team wants the quality extensions to prevent edits or to show warnings as abuse filters do (and, as far as I know, there are no signs to believe they're going to implement these possibilities in the near future), but that's my wish as well. Nonetheless, I also admit that the community isn't managing constraints well: endless lists of exceptions, unjustified constraints to simply generate reports (instead of using the Query Service or Listeria with that purpose), additions and removals of constraints by editors who individually consider the current number of violations too high or too low, etc. --abián 09:59, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment There don't seem to be plenty of these. Most aren't specific to properties and some not even viewable by people like me (e.g. Special:AbuseFilter/5).
