- Motivation
It's fairly common for a book to have an anonymous editor, sometimes in conjunction with a named editor. When another source identifies the anonymous editor, it would be better to have a property other than "editor" (P98) to make this distinction. Mike Christie (talk) 21:28, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- Discussion
- Couldn't this be achieved with a qualifier? I feel like "anonymity" of participation is not something unique to editors, and ought to be somehow more connected amongst these different types. Sadads (talk) 12:16, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Use a "role" qualifier. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 14:26, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
@Mike Christie: Not done As mentioned this can be solved by qualifier: P794 (P794): anonymous (Q4233718). Therefore unnecessary. Also lack of support. Lymantria (talk) 11:45, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
