Discussion[edit]
- Comment I think this qualifier should be only used for the codes of CJK Compatibility Ideographs (Q2493848) and CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement (Q2493862); i.e. in the above examples, "applies to Unicode codepoint → 8457" is redundant. That is because, from the point of view of those who use this data, this qualifier is used only when they specially want to get the data of specific CJK Compatibility Ideographs (Q2493848) or CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement (Q2493862). If an item has two or more codes of CJK Unified Ideographs (Q796156), it should be divided into more than one items. Also, applies to jurisdiction (P1001) data corresponding to CJK Compatibility Ideographs (Q2493848) or CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement (Q2493862) should be stored under the Unicode code point (P4213) statements of Han character items (ex. ⟨ 著 (Q54918611) ⟩ Unicode code point (P4213) ⟨ 2F99F ⟩), rather than repeatedly described in many places. --Okkn (talk) 18:02, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Unicode block (P5522) ⟨ CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement (Q2493862) ⟩
applies to jurisdiction (P1001) ⟨ Taiwan (Q865) ⟩
applies to jurisdiction (P1001) ⟨ North Korea (Q423) ⟩ - Not done After careful perusal of the discussion above, I have decided that separate Han character items should be created for CJK Compatibility Ideographs (Q2493848) and CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement (Q2493862). Data related to those glyphs should be stored in separate items, eg. 著 (Q54918611) and 著 (U+FA5F) (Q55726748) to avoid further confusion. KevinUp (talk) 22:22, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
