Motivation

Organizations often have their distinctive badge however this insignia does not fit well into the coat of arms image (P94) or logo image (P154) category. There might even be instances where an organization has a logo, a coat of arms, a patch (another proposal) and a badge - all different and requiring separate properties. •  Comment Another way to do this would be to create items for the badges themselves and link them with has seal, badge, or sigil (P418). Are there other things we might want to say about these badges, that would be best handled with their own items? ArthurPSmith (talk) 20:26, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

  I can see a use for this for events like conferences/conventions that have badges for identification and proof of purchase (see https://efanzines.com/ECBadges/). These would fit better with the original proposal, but would be too minor to justify their own items. Possible qualifiers are VIP status etc Vicarage (talk) 16:48, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
