- Weak oppose What kind of determination method (P459) would need to exist to specify how the head was measured? Is it the "effective head" (factoring in losses)? In a hydroelectric dam, is the head determined to be the mid-height of the top of the penstock (Q1260995) minus the mid-height of the mill race (Q736691) outlet? Perhaps it's measured down to the top of the draft tube (Q12050991)? Without this level of engineering specification, values of this property could mean many different things to different people. I agree in principle with the need for a property such as this one proposed, and will change my vote to one of support if further clarification is provided on the expected determination method (P459) which are proposed to be used as mandatory qualifiers to this property. - Support this property is needed, there is no other reasonable way to specify the hydraulic head. The determination method should be the standard one used for hydroelectric power stations, as reported by sources (as already used in the relevant infobox on Wikipedia). --Ita140188 (talk) 10:11, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
