Motivation[edit]
Many Wiki's already have an infobox parameter dedicated to perpetrators of crimes and terrorist attacks and as such i think this property could come to great use. --Trade (talk) 15:32, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

- Support I would also like to see something around victims. We had the discussion on the french community page, which didn't result into a solution. --Misc (talk) 10:47, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support Storing both victim and perpetrator in participant (P710) is really strange.--Jklamo (talk) 12:39, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Question where would suspect (Q224952) go? participant (P710)? --- Jura 18:18, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- Question there are also other values used with the qualifier object has role (P3831) on participant (P710): murderer (Q931260), direct perpetrator (Q79798062), attacker (Q31924059), backpack bomber (Q2171821), terrorist (Q14886050), acquittal (Q1454723), conspirator (Q63967171), assassin (Q55983771), serial killer (Q484188).
- Most could probably be included in perpetrator, but others not (e.g.conspirator (Q63967171)).
- What to do with these? Create more properties? --- Jura 12:57, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Trade, Tinker Bell, Misc, Jklamo, Jura1: Done as perpetrator (P8031). Thierry Caro (talk) 03:43, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- As noted on Thierry's talk page, the questions are still open and template above should also be fixed. I listed this for deletion in the meantime. --- Jura 08:44, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Object has role: murderer, direct perpetrator, backpack bomber, terrorist, jihadist, mass shooter, mass murderer, serial killer, assassin. If it's an item about a conspiracy to commit a crime then this property should be used with object has role: conspirator. The description says 'CONFIRMED perpetrator' so if the person in question have been acquitted then he should be listed under participant or significant person with object has role: acquittant (Q88883789). @Jura1: --Trade (talk) 17:15, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- So include conspirator (Q63967171), but not suspect (Q224952)? --- Jura 17:22, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
