I would like to add the statement for the Commons category ("Leopoldo Benites") on Q343750, but there is no edit button shown as it usually is on Wikidata item pages. According to the logfiles there seems to be no edit protection applied, which would exclude normal users like me from editing. What's the difference at this Wikidata item to other ones? --Zaccarias (talk) 10:23, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is a software bug which shows up on many item pages since ~2 days. As a temporal workaround clear the cached version from the server by purging the page (add ?action=purge to the URL in your browser, and execute the purge).
