Task/s: Add P8971 property for every person that is linked to Cinémathèque québécoise's linked open data.

Function details: The bot will query Cinémathèque québécoise's linked open data SPARQL endpoint for all links between its people and those of Wikidata. Afterwards, the bot will add statements for each Wikidata person using the property P8971 and the Cinémathèque québécoise person ID. For example, the resource http://data.cinematheque.qc.ca/resource/Person1063 has the property owl:sameAs with http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q2977617. With this triple, the bot will create the following statement in Wikidata: (http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q2977617, P8971, http://data.cinematheque.qc.ca/resource/Person1063). looking at your code it seems like you don't plan to add references. would it be hard to add a reference just saying that this was added based on the data you are using? otherwise  Support BrokenSegue (talk) 03:01, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thats what I though. The data is already available in Cinémathèque québécoise's linked open data, so a reference doesn't seem useful. Koslambrou (talk) 10:21, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
well it's useful to know that's how or why the link was added. in the future they may realize they made an error and unlink something. but then look at wikidata and think we are now asserting the link is valid. without a reference they will not know we added the link because of them. so what statement should I add exactly as a reference? Should I add a P248 (stated in) property linked to a Wikidata entity representing Cinemathèque québécoise's database (it would need to be created) as reference ? Koslambrou (talk) 18:25, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Code was updated. Added stated in (P248) reference linked to Cinemathèque québécoise Linked Open Data (Q104486501) and retrieved (P813) qualifier with the date that the code was executed. As example, check the property Cinémathèque québécoise person ID (P8971) of entity Claude Jutra (Q2977617). Is that okay? Koslambrou (talk) 14:47, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
