Review[edit]
@MJL, GZWDer, Dr.üsenfieber, Andrew Gray, Ymblanter: @1997kB: To sum this up (mainly for bots from other wikis doing the same in the future):
- Two things seem to have been needed:
- create the account on Wikidata (as mentioned by GZWDer, done on 16:36, 1 October 2020)
- set the account to autoconfirmed (as done by 1997kB on 03:54, 2 October 2020 [1])
- For further features (e.g. bot flag on deletion edits), these would need some development first. --- Jura 09:23, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- I could have also given the flooder flag. At the moment I gave the bot flag, the account was already confirmed.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:26, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Ymblanter: Can you give it a try? Maybe it has an effect. The bot flag needs to be affirmed explicitly. --- Jura 09:29, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- At the moment, they have a bot and a conformed flag, I do not think I can make it any better.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:32, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- The bot flag doesn't seem to work (probably because the bot can't affirm the bot flag on Wikidata while deleting on scowiki), but maybe the flood flag has that effect even without. --- Jura 09:34, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- I added the flood flag, let us see what happens now. I also noticed that the confirmed flag expired, I now made it indefinite.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:41, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

- I think when someone delete article over other wikis, system automatically creates account on wikidata so the articles can be removed from item. But yes if we found such bots running flood and confirmed should be given asap. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 13:50, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- @1997kB: I don't believe so because I used Cliverbot to delete w:sco:Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Category:Chilean newspaper editors. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 16:23, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- @MJL: Delete log on scowiki says you deleted that article. Maybe you linked incorrect one? ‐‐1997kB (talk) 16:27, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hold on, just thought it as deletion discussion for category. Can you link a Wikidata item for any of those articles in that category? ‐‐1997kB (talk) 16:37, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- Nvm, found it 1491. Now I think either we should use a bot like one commons have for file renames or software should automatically create account locally when someone delete an article. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 16:49, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, not sure what the best solution to that it is, but it is a good thing GZWDer had me register Cliverbot here. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 17:01, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
