Task/s: Split single references containing multiple reference URLs into multiple references
Code: at Github
Function details: Some examples of single references containing multiple reference URLs are: [1] [2] [3]. For date of birth (P569), Wikidata contains 17,055 of such references.
- The bot will only look at references for property sex or gender (P21), date of birth (P569), date of death (P570).
- It only splits references with multiple reference URL (P854) properties, zero or one retrieved (P813) property, and no other properties.
- Additionally, it will attempt to add a stated in (P248) based on data in Wikidata.
- References with URLs to archive sites will be skipped, as well as references with URLs with the same hostname (for example: [4], the second reference)
Example edits can be found here. If approved, I'll run the script every few months or so.

- Support a fundamental task for improving this known issue, mainly generated by a (now solved) bug of Mix'n'match item creation. --Epìdosis 20:00, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
