Task/s: Mfchris84-Bot will run scripts on toolforge for automatic and scheduled edits on bibliographic items. First attempt is to add regularly articles from the Swiss Online Magazine Syntopia Alpina (Q112206291). Next projects are a script to add swisscovery edition ID (P9907) to version/edition items (comparable in the functionallity with User:K10PlusBot and extend the article parser for Scientific Journals hosted on OJS by Lucerne central and university library (Q189926).

Function details: The Syntopia-Alpina parser does the following steps:

• Read the RSS-Feed of the Magazine
• Check for already created Items based on full work available at URL (P953) (and an internal cached check for previous items creations)
• Create an new item if necessary
• Add Labels, Description, instance of (P31), title (P1476), author name string (P2093), full work available at URL (P953), copyright status (P6216), language of work or name (P407), published in (P1433)

why do some edits have broken links in the edit summary e.g [1]. also I don't know what you mean about checking programmer (P943) BrokenSegue (talk) 22:56, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback. If have changed the way of adding edit summaries in the code [2]; programmer (P943) was a spelling error, i have corrected the request to full work available at URL (P953). Mfchris84 (talk) 06:21, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
