Task/s: Correct links on Wikidata when my own bot renames articles on the French Wikipedia.
Function details: I regularly answer to bot requests on the French Wikipedia. Sometimes, these requests involve mass renaming of pages or categories. I would like to have a bot flag here so that I can fix interwiki links (and possibly the description) immediatly on Wikidata when I process such requests on my home wiki (for instance this request, after which I had to make all these edits by hand). --Orlodrim (talk) 12:10, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm going to start test edits in a few minutes. Orlodrim (talk) 12:13, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I have done 93 edits. Orlodrim (talk) 13:02, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Support, seems useful. --Ricordisamoa 13:21, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Support very useful. Now all we need is a bot that does this on every Wikipedia for every Sysop. And maybe to mess with people, a bot that does this on Wikidata too. John F. Lewis (talk) 16:51, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Somewhat impossible since categories can't be moved technically. Hazard-SJ ✈ 05:49, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- The bot will be approved in 24h provided there are no objections.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:14, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Is there really a need to say this? I'd consider just waiting a reasonable time if that's the case. Hazard-SJ ✈ 05:49, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
