Function details: I run three of these updating statistics bots, which are linked on my user page, and haven't gotten bot permissions for them as the volume of edits is low and it only edits specific subpages which I've created for this purpose. Unfortunately UpdateWikiprojectBot keeps being prompted for CAPTCHAs and so it is not editing weekly as desired. I believe that if it gets bot permissions it won't be served the CAPTCHAs? --Carlinmack (talk) 10:38, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You will not longer be affected by CAPTCHAs once you had 50 edits. GZWDer (talk) 13:59, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
