Task/s: I want to import stuff and update things in the namespace 0 like every normal user. Nothing specific.
Code: //
Function details:
You know, all the patrollers appreciate the separation between human and computer contributions. By the way, it seems that human users have much more "freedom" then bots and sometimes without much reasons: e.g. human users can do large imports using tools like QuickStatements without any form of consensus. In the other hand, bots have to ask for consensus for whatever import task, even small. A lot of very good wikifriends are trying to convince me to abandon this bot account and run my automated Wikidata tasks from my human account, in order to avoid bureaucratic idle and frustration... so please understand my the temptation... O:)
Tl;dr: Please allow my robot account User:Valerio Bozzolan bot to operate like humans. I simply like to correct stuff and import stuff in the namespace 0. I can promise to keep a reasonable edit ratio. I can operate without the use of the bot flag in order to don't skip the watchlist, like humans. Or I can be totally untrusted removing my flag. Tell me the limitations and I will be happy to respect them. Thank you for your help :) --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 22:13, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
- I am inclined to approve this in a couple of days provided there have been no objections raised.--Ymblanter (talk) 20:11, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
