WikiProject LGBT is the WikiProject for developing LGBT-themed content in Wikidata and advocating for the community of contributors developing this content. While no one and no project speaks for everyone in the Wikidata community, this project does provide a forum for central discussion of topics of interest to stakeholders in LGBT+ content.

History and development[edit]
Created in June 2014 as part of Wiki Loves Pride 2014, the WikiProject is supported by Wikimedia LGBT.

- WikiProject Med Foundation (Q52661450) supports with development of health content relevant in the context of gender and sexuality
- Art+Feminism (Q24909800) promotes creation of content showcasing underrepresented gender and sexuality demographics
- Wikimedia New York City (Q18559925) hosts regular LGBT+ Wikimedia events
- Wikimedia Austria (Q18559623) hosts regular LGBT+ Wikimedia events
- Wikimedia UK (Q7999857) hosts regular LGBT+ Wikimedia events
- Data Science Institute (Q50386370) engages in ongoing Wiki LGBT+ research, including for WikiCite (Q21831105) content and addressing misconduct among Wikimedia users
