Public art is described in many diverse sources. Some countries and municipalities maintain their own websites and databases of public art. And there are also many quite interesting volunteer-built websites.

If you know a good source, please list it below. For each source, please mention (if possible):

  • Name and link. (If it's an online source; feel free to also include offline sources if you know of any!)
  • Type. Is it an online database, or another type of source?
  • Maintained by. If known, mention individuals, volunteers or organization(s) that maintain this source.
  • What? Add a short explanation about scope and purpose of the source.
  • Has unique (and stable) identifiers? Does the source use unique numbers or other strings to identify each individual work (sometimes part of the URL, sometimes visible on individual pages, or both)? If yes, provide an example if possible.
  • Wikidata property. If the source is an online database with unique identifiers, that source should probably have one! If you couldn't find a Wikidata property yet, go ahead, propose a property here, and ping the participants of this WikiProject by mentioning {{Ping project|...}} so that we can take a look and help you.
  • Mix'n'match catalogue
    • Mention and provide a link if the source can be matched with Wikidata items in the Mix'n'match tool (manual). Use the 'Search catalogs' functionality in Mix'n'match to check this.
    • Is the source is not in Mix'n'match yet, but is it an online database with unique identifiers? Then it may be nice to include it in Mix'n'match. Feel free to suggest the catalog for inclusion here or – if you are familiar with RegEx – create your own scraper immediately.
