Wikidata:WikiProject Vanderbilt Fine Arts Gallery
Welcome to WikiProject Vanderbilt Fine Arts Gallery! The goal of this Wikiproject is to share and describe images and metadata from the Vanderbilt Museum of Art (formerly Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery).
To view works in the collection, click on the tabs above. You may need to refresh the screen a number of times to get all of the images to load.
Initiatives[edit]
The WikiProject has two major initiatives. First, the participants aspire to create Wikidata items for every object in the Museum (completed!). Second, the participants intend to upload images of objects to Wikimedia Commons where materials and derivative images have fallen into the public domain or have been released under compatible licenses (completed). Down the line, we also intend to create Depicts statements on Commons and Wikidata to enable enhanced searching of objects.
