Abstract: This workshop will introduce attendees to the OpenRefine software and give them a basic understanding of how it can be used to clean and structure a dataset ready for ingest to Wikidata. Attendees will learn how to import data, identify problems in the dataset, manipulate data with GREL functions, use the Wikidata reconciliation service, create a Wikidata schema and upload their data.
