Indices and frequency lists

Is it better just to keep indices and frequency lists as csv files on Wikimedia Commons, or is there a better way to do it with WikiData?

For example, I have a Finnish frequency list that lists how many time each lemma occurs in a collection of periodicals. It is formatted as a sortable table, but the page loads too slowly. It seems like WikiData might be a good way to retrieve and display the information without having to create a separate list in wiki markup. Heyzeuss (talk) 13:09, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
