Esperanto

If seeing this main page in Esperanto, the first link under "Get involved" ("Kunlaboru") is a red link "Vikidatumoj:Komunuma portalo" - but the whole section does exist, under "Wikidata:Community_portal/eo". The second link "Wikidata:Enkonduko" can easily be redirected to "Wikidata:Introduction/eo", but the first link does not allow a redirect. I don't even know, how many of the following "red links" - seeing this main page in Esperanto - are really red links or just broken links like "Community portal/eo". Anyhow I would like to have that broken link "Vikidatumoj:Komunuma portalo" to "Wikidata:Community_portal/eo" to be fixed. Thanks! ThomasPusch (talk) 20:23, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

@ThomasPusch: Links should not be translated. For example, {{Ll|Wikidata:Community portal|...}} should not become {{Ll|Vikidatumoj:Komunuma portalo|...}}. Someone needs to go though all translations and fix them. --Matěj Suchánek (talk) 16:44, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

That's good news! This work can be fixed within an hour. I think I yet managed to fix half of it. I'm wondering, if "Wikidata is part of the [[w:Non-profit organization|non-profit]], {{ll|Help:Multilingual|multilingual}}, [[$1|free-content]] [[Wikimedia:|Wikimedia]] family." can remain "Vikidatumoj estas parto de la [[w:Non-profit organization|ne-profita]], {{ll|Help:Multilingual/eo|plurlingva}}, [[$1|liber-enhava]] [[Wikimedia:|Vikimedia]] familio.", as that "/eo" after "Multilingual" is no real translation, or should I erase that??? It’s completely unnecessary – the purpose of {{Ll|Help:Multilingual}} is that it sends users to the translated pages in their interface language if it exists. If someone is seeing the main page in Esperanto, it means that their interface language is Esperanto, so they’ll be sent to Help:Multilingual/eo (provided that it exists). On the other hand, feel free to translate w:Non-profit organization to eo:Neprofitcela organizaĵo, as “links should not be translated” applies only to internal links, not to interwiki ones. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 11:08, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
