RfC/V[edit]

I maybe never will understand the habit of having RfC's, but some RfC looks to me more like Requests for Votes, than invitations to discussion. Are there never any space for some basic brainstorming? -- Lavallen (talk) 14:29, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Lavallen: of course you can discuss every option, but also list your own opinion. If in doubt, you can discuss further here or on the Project chat. --Ricordisamoa 15:56, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Data access[edit]

Just a note: direct data access in MediaWiki is only possible via mw:Extension:Wikibase Client. Of course, everyone can write a piece of software to access arbitrary data, but such cases are not covered by my questions. My proposal is not about restricting API access at all, but allowing Phase 1 and 2 on some non-WMF wikis (not possible at the moment). @GZWDer: you may want to review your comments. --Ricordisamoa 16:39, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I editted the Lead[edit]

I took out signatures and rewrote the lead as an introduction. I suggest any discussion of the lead goes here rather than in the Lead itself. Filceolaire (talk) 20:45, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Phase 1 and moved pages and SUL[edit]

Yesterday, I made this on Wikipedia, not from here. In whateverwiki.net is User:Lavallen not related to the same person who has identified himself to WMF, it could be anybody, anywhere. How is this technically solved? -- Lavallen (talk) 07:05, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
