Status

Is the tool currently down? I've used it extensively before but today, nothing is happening. It hangs in the batch screen, with the first item in the list indicated as "running", but it doesn't proceed beyond that point. Schwede66 (talk) 03:15, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

There are a couple of reasons it may appear to hang or be slow:

• if Wikidata is hitting its "maxlag" limit, updates will be suspended until lag times drop again
• there are 4 instances running, it may be that all 4 are busy with somebody else's batch jobs, or at least that the one your job is waiting on is running one for somebody else.

Both should clear up in less than an hour; if it seems to be hanging longer than that please contact me! ArthurPSmith (talk) 14:43, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
