Improvements to layout

Can I suggest you wrap the query in {{SPARQL|query= to get the TryIt button, and use meaningful variable names? Vicarage (talk) 06:07, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

@Vicarage: thanks a lot for your feedback. I already use the {{SPARQL}} template. The "try it" button has be renamed to "current list of French departments" since it is the title of the query. For your second point, I'm not sure to know what would meaningful variable name be. However, I propose to create a data dictionary to explain each variable. PAC2 (talk) 05:31, 24 July 2022 (UTC)

Ah-ha, you might want to change the title to 'produce a list...' to make the action clearer. And have you considered doing a version with in-line documentation rather than notes at the end, to see if people find that more readable. I think if your project is to get traction your examples need to be both crystal clear and allow people to imagine they could write in that style, so its worth considering your audience, are they experienced SPAQRL people, or people like me who find it all very confusing!
