I have no idea what I am doing[edit]

I am in the process of learning how to engage Wikidata myself. Although I can do lots of things, I am having difficulty explaining what I do and why to others. As I look around I am not seeing anyone else's curricula for learning Wikidata. I am thinking of making one, but while I consider that, I wanted to post this overview page as part of the process to collect resources and identify what anyone else has already done. Thanks. Feedback request made at Project chat[edit]

I requested feedback at Project Chat on this page, asking

  1. did I overlook any existing page like this?
  2. can others contribute educational resources?
  3. who might collaborate to develop this?

Items to integrate[edit]

Almost all of that is from Daniel Mietchen.

Showcasing queries[edit]

If I had to suggest one priority for development to teach Wikidata it would be to develop nice queries over nice datasets.

At Wikidata:SPARQL query service/queries/examples I find the examples to be a mess.
