--Diegodlh (talk) 19:32, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unable to install Cita[edit]

I have installed Zotero 5 but I am unable to install the Cita add-on. The message I get is "The add-on "%S" could not be installed. It may be incompatible with this version of Zotero." What should I do? - PKM (talk) 20:41, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, PKM! Maybe you downloaded the .zip file instead of the .xpi file from Github? Could you double-check that, please? --Diegodlh (talk) 21:44, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I did. Thanks! - PKM (talk) 21:48, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Works great! - PKM (talk) 22:19, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semantic Scholar corpus ID[edit]

I just pushed my first article using Cita. Works great! I just have to note that Zotero allows to add attributes in the extra field. I added the PMID, PMCID and S2CID, the first two was uploaded fine but S2CID was not added and I had to add it manually. Maybe it would me good to check if the other identifiers also works. —Arthurfragoso (talk) 04:23, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I just found this! For some reason, sometimes I don't get notifications when someone edits one of the pages I watch on-wiki. The "create new entity on Wikidata" part of Cita relies on the Wikidata Quickstatements export translator. As far as I can see on their source code (here), it does not support S2CID. If you feel comfortable doing so, you may post an issue to the Zotero translators repository asking that Wikidata Quickstatements export translator supports S2CID, indicating the corresponding Wikidata property, and post a feature request to the Cita repository referencing this. If it's addressed upstream, we can then import these changes and support it from Cita too. Diegodlh (talk) 14:07, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Quick guide window 3[edit]

And this is the screenshot of what? I dont have such options in my Zotero. Juandev (talk) 19:56, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It would be nice to describe steps better. I dont know in which environment the screenshots were created. Juandev (talk) 09:21, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Citations from Wikidata[edit]

So does it also support to get citations from Wikidata, or is a one way Zotero to Wikidata? Juandev (talk) 09:13, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
