Purpose of this property[edit]

Apart from being the inverse of owned by (P127) (which was the sole rationale stated in the proposal), does this property actually provide any kind of value? Take a look at Q513666#P1830 for example, ownership is should be already modelled in the objects and huge lists like that make items difficult to maintain.   • Take a look if you would at Q116809558. The almost-forgotten person is remembered (mostly) as the owner of a cult painting (Q4247398).
