Discussion[edit]

Is this property intended for use on humans? @Trivialist:--Trade (talk) 13:25, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Trade: I don't see why not. While it would be an expansion from the original proposal, it would be similar to how Rotten Tomatoes ID (P1258) and Metacritic ID (P1712) can be used for both works and people. Trivialist (talk) 22:20, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't we do the same with the Letterboxd identifiers? @Trivialist:--Trade (talk) 15:09, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It could be done, but it would mean combining Letterboxd actor ID (P6119) and Letterboxd film ID (P6127), and adding /actor/ or /film/ to each item. Also, there might be other Wikimedia templates dependent on them being separate properties. Trakt.tv is relatively new, and already handled multiple types of entries, so adding people was easier. Curious if there’s any thoughts or prior discussion on using Trakt’s database integer ids rather than the associated URL “slug” string? The integer ids are well supported via the Trakt API. So when would broader URI path-like identifiers be chosen over database IDs. As mentioned in a previous topic, Rotten Tomatoes ID (P1258) being a combined ID that’s more path-like vs the scoped type integer ids like Letterbox (P6119, P6127) and TMDb IDs (P4947, P4985). Suitable also for TV program[edit]

I think that this property should be valid also for TV programs (Q15416). Mannivu (talk) 14:03, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
