Hi U+1F360, I changed subclass of (P279) of this item from character that may or may not be fictional (Q21070598) to abstract entity (Q7184903) because character that may or may not be fictional (Q21070598) refers to characters/persons that are said to exist (by some sources). I don't think that any source claims that Narrator (Q3336121) or The Narrator (Q58484550) really exists. abstract entity (Q7184903) seems to be better than fictional character (Q95074) as the narrator does not need to be personal (in difference to personal narrator (Q2331098)). - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 08:25, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Valentina.Anitnelav: For The Narrator (Q58484550) the character is referenced in Fight Club (Q190050) in the credits, however, the same character, I doubt is referenced in Fight Club (Q837283), so I think your change makes sense. U+1F360 (talk) 14:40, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

narrator as role[edit]

Hello Discostu, I suppose you added instance of (P31) role (Q1707847) to use it along with character role (P453). This item represents the concept of a narrator (including also the narrative voice in literary texts), not a concrete role. You can use object has role (P3831) as a qualifier or use narrator (P2438) as a direct claim to indicate the actor serving as the narrator of a story. - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 20:04, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you, you are right, using P3831 is the better choice. Discostu (talk) 20:15, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
