Hallo Sotho, danke für die Eintragung von Dubletten. Wenn du Lust & Zeit hast, kannst du solche Fälle direkt unter de:WP:GND/F melden. Die Liste Wikidata:Database reports/Constraint violations/P227 ist leider zu lang und unübersichtlich (Wikidata erfasst nicht den GND-Typ), als dass alle Fehler korrigiert werden. @EncycloPetey: Sure... you better go check ALL the values that were already present on that item then for their validity. I only added related items to what was already there. In this edit you added this link, which is for "Pseudo-Virgil", the assemblage of authors who wrote works spuriously attributed to Virgil. The target is explicitly not Virgil (Q1398). The description on the target database makes this clear. --EncycloPetey (talk) 04:55, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

Please explain your actions

You reverted some regular entries I had edited on Q95067287. I do not understand your recent actions and the motivations of that. So I have to ask you to explain. Give me your reasons and some facts why you think your doings are completely justified. Mittlerweile habe ich gesehen, dass Du offenbar auch deutscher Muttersprachler bist, also auf Deutsch. Tja, mir genügt diese Antwort in der Sache nicht. Du behauptest etwas, aber begründest und erläuterst nichts, genau das aber war das Anliegen. Zumindest sind die deutschsprachige Deskriptionen NLA Trove people ID (P1315) versus Libraries Australia ID (P409) grenzwertig schlecht unterscheidbar und müsste gegebenfalls dringend verbessert werden, um für Mitarbeiter unterscheidbarer zu werden. Die australische Nationalbibliothek kommt schon oft genug vor, dass das notwendig zu klären ist. Also die Frage noch einmal: Warum das eine und das andere nicht? Wenn ich das nächste mal NLA-ID sehe, möchte ich Klarheit haben. Nagut, dann halt etwas ausführlicher: Die Nationalbibliothek Australiens (NLA) hat zwei Datenbanken für Normdaten. Einmal über das Portal für die Bibliotheken und deren Nutzer: [1]. Die Werte sind zwar dort von außen nicht direkt suchbar, werden aber an VIAF übermittelt. Die Eigenschaft Libraries Australia ID (P409) ist dafür in Wikidata eingerichtet. Daneben gibt es noch die Trove-Datenbank, welche von außen etwas zugänglicher ist: [2]. Die Werte werden in Wikidata unter der Eigenschaft NLA Trove people ID (P1315) geführt. Eine Übermittlung dieser Daten an VIAF findet aktuell allerdings nicht statt, ist vermutlich auch zukünftig nicht geplant. Alles was man in VIAF findet, gehört immer zu Libraries Australia ID (P409) . Nehmen wir das oben angeführte Beispiel Q95067287: Libraries Australia ID (P409) hat da jetzt den Wert "58945918", folgt man dem externen Link, gelangt man zu [3]. Fügte man den Wert zu NLA Trove people ID (P1315) hinzu, sähe der externe Link so aus: [4]. Dies führt dann zu einer Fehlerseite, da der Wert nicht zur Eigenschaft passt. Man kann mit dem Wert "58945918" aber in der Trove Datenbank suchen ([5]) und damit den passenden Wert für NLA Trove people ID (P1315) finden: "1818874" ([6]). --Sotho Tal Ker (talk) 21:46, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

@Epìdosis: It's a nice start, though there are a few bugs. RERO IDs are not normalized correctly, LIH gets added twice, once correctly, once to LNB. BnF without check"digit" is not recognized, but when the value is missing at all, it is at least added correctly. SKMASNL is a bad property anyway, so that won't be included by me ever. A quick link in the sidebar is also very preferred by me, instead of scrolling down a lot for populated items. --Sotho Tal Ker (talk) 23:45, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi! I've reflected upon NUKAT ID (P1207) and I think that, being it used 159k times, it's better to act as in NSZL (VIAF) ID (P951)/NSZL name authority ID (P3133), so proposing a new property. Bist du sicher, dass NTA 240663349 nicht zu Alfred Hetschko (Q55046591) gehört? Eine der beiden Publikationen ist nämlich im OeBL genannt … --Emu (talk) 23:40, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

Der Wert war vorher 285598702, was keine gültiger NTA Eintrag ist. Dann hatte ich nach dem Namen bei VIAF geschaut und nichts gefunden, weil VIAF den Vornamen abgekürzt und ich dort nicht direkt mit der ID gesucht hatte. Daher wurde der Wert von mir wieder entfernt. Mit der von dir genannten NTA passt das ja, und ich habe jetzt beide Werte (VIAF+NTA) hinzugefügt. :) --Sotho Tal Ker (talk) 00:05, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Hmm, if you feel this merge was incorrect, we can revert it. The name of the three buildings is given by the Settlement as Henry Street Headquarters though, so the building entry should likely be renamed then.
