Group 1 and 2 had the flags removed, further removals should probably be in a new request given that this was opened in 2020. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 18:03, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Inactive bot accounts 2[edit]

It has been three years since the previous review and another review is required. Soon we will introduce a new group of bot accounts (see phab:T258354).

Group 1
Bot and operator inactive for two years
Group 2
Bot inactive for two years and have no active tasks
Group 3
Bot inactive for two years

I also proposed to remove bot flag from QuickStatementsBot (talk • contribs • new items • new lexemes • SUL • Block log • User rights log • User rights • xtools) - Though not inactive but currently deprecated and blocked.--GZWDer (talk) 17:23, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removed bot flag for groups 1 and 2 and QuickStatementsBot. I think operators of group 3 deserve to have a notification at their user talk page, including the option to wish to keep the flag. Lymantria (talk) 16:59, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Group 3 is approaching 2 years of inactivity in the meanwhile, but if somebody (presumably using the bot0 can leave messages at the talk pages, it would be good.--Ymblanter (talk) 19:51, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Should those bots that their maintainers are, by their main accounts, inactive for 2 years be also listed? Those bots that their owners are inactive may also be dangerous on lack of updating source codes, leading gliches on e.g. edit summaries. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 03:18, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
