Scripts
[edit]- A script to automatically import Elo ratings from the FIDE database is available here. It works for FIDE Rating Lists post-2011, since from then on, rating lists in xml-format are available. A brief documentation of the script is available within the script.
- This script automatically sets those Elo ratings that were published after the death of a player to 'deprecated'. This is the better solution as compared to simply removing the ratings. The script just needs to be executed, no adjustments are required.
- This script finds all Elo rating statements with preferred rank and sets them to normal rank. This is done because it was agreed that neither the most recent Elo rating nor the best Elo rating of a player nor any other particular rating is suitable for being preferred. The script just needs to be executed, no adjustments are required.
