Instance of heritage site constraint

[edit]

I removed the constraint that required a instance of (P31) heritage site (Q358) statement, which isn't ideal usage when a specific property already exists. The instance of (P31) should just refer to what the entity is, e.g., a building (Q41176), and the heritage status is indicated by the heritage designation (P1435) statement. See Wikidata:Project_chat/Archive/2019/11#Add_P31_to_27,000_heritage_sites_in_Romania_-_bot_account_needed?. Ghouston (talk) 01:53, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Reference item

[edit]

I also created an item Tasmanian Heritage Register Permanent Provisional Registration as at 30 August 2019 (Q79707197) which can be used as a reference using stated in (P248), as on Cheshunt House (Q67175928). This should continue to be a valid reference even if the Heritage Tasmania website changes or if the site is removed from the heritage list. If a site is removed, we at least have evidence that it was listed in the past, and can just add a end time (P582) qualifier. Ghouston (talk) 01:59, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The formatted URLs are broken, leading to a search form with the error message "Invalid or missing input parameters." The URLs look like this: https://services.thelist.tas.gov.au/arcgis/rest/services/Public/CadastreAndAdministrative/MapServer/0/query?where=THR_ID%3D7836&outFields=THR_ID%2CNAME%2CADDRESS%2CSTATUS%2CSHAPE which search via a column name 'THR_ID'. I've looked in the full layer list for both CadastreAndAdministrative and CadastreAndAdministrativeV2 and there's no mention of any such column/attribute. I guess they've changed what's exposed to the public. Sam Wilson 03:28, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, the heritage register data has moved to HT/HT_Public, e.g.. I've added a new formatter URL (P1630) and deprecated the old one. Hope this is all correct. Sam Wilson 03:32, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
