Missouri or bi-state?[edit]

As of 2028-10-04, the Wikidata entry for "Kansas City metropolitan area (Q2307187)" refered to the "metropolitan area of Kansas City, Missouri". The exclusive Missouri connection here is inappropriate, because w:Kansas City metropolitan area describes "a 15-county metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri, that straddles the border between the U.S. states of Missouri and Kansas." Nine of the 15 counties are in Missouri. The other 6 are in Kansas. It's a bi-state area. I'm modifying this entry so it reflects the bistate character of this metro area. An exclusive connection is indeed inappropriate, however a clear mention of the central city is important I think, even the President of the United States can get confused. Grey Wanderer (talk) 09:05, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
