Name in english[edit]
Plus the english name should not be "Monastery of the Jacobins" but "Convent of the Jacobins", as it is in French ("Couvent des Jacobins"). Nowadays, convents often refer to communities of women, but in the past they also referred to the monasteries of the mendicant orders, which is why this monument is called a convent. Thanks!
