Santa Fe is the county seat of Santa Fe County, it also happens to be the primary metropolitan area for the city, which can be corroborated on many websites including the United States Census. The combined statistical area fully added the Albuquerque metropolitan area in 2013, putting the population of the extended metro at over a million people. 174.50.83.172
