Federal Republic[edit]

I removed a reference to the claim : form of government: federal republic. The source was a quote from the Austrian Constitution saying: "Österreich ist eine demokratische Republik.", but a democratic republic is not the same thing as a federal republic. --Zolo (talk) 08:04, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Regional indicator as alias[edit]

There seems to be some problem with the regional indicator symbol for Austria made searchable by adding it as alias of the general fallback language (English). The explanation I received was "no unicode characters are valid content as an English alias, especially as most readers will not even have the character set installed to render them". Do we have anything to support this or is just a user opinion possibly due to some outdated software being used for Austria? We must bear in mind that some advanced features might not necessairly be available to all users. --- Jura 08:08, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
