Nicholas -> Николай[edit]
Can we exchange the meaning (statements, labels and descriptions) of this item with Nikolai (Q5486169)? The reason is that it is used mostly for Russian name "Николай" (see PSID=1084230 with 5778 "Николай" people vs. 7740 all uses), so it was its original meaning. @Harmonia Amanda: can you do this? Of course there is another possibility: to change P735 in 5778 items - but that is much more edits... --Infovarius (talk) 12:11, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- Actually, I had started to do that, but it's even more complicated: Nikolai (Q5486169) is right now used as both "Николай" and "Nikolai" (German name), so it should be split before we start to correct uses. I'll list all variants today (Nikolai, Nicholas, Nikolaï, Николай, etc.) and verify each has its own entry with the correct properties and then I'll try to correct all uses for these (and probably share my SPARQL/Petscan queries so I'm not alone). Right now it's a mess and we can't actually correct only one entry, we need to do all at the same time.
