Part of Ukraine[edit]

@Infovarius: You set an end date for the property "in administrative region" for the value Ukraine. This is currently a highly sensitive topic. So either this statement has to be according to a source or should not be made at all. I can't help you out because I am not aware of any source that has stated such a thing. The status remains disputed until the events unfold. --Tobias1984 (talk) 18:14, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you, and precise date can be disputed. But at least we can now add "territorial dispute (Q1078001)" statement. --Infovarius (talk) 22:09, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article is about the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which is one of the subdivisions of Ukraine - compare with Republic of Crimea (Q15966495), which is a division of the Russian Federation. And, according to official laws of this division, it's still a part of Ukraine - as all of it's council contoversial decicions of February and March 2014 were stopped by Verkhovna Rada, and the council itself was dissolved. And some institutions of the Autonomous Republic are still working - for example, Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea - just on 22 August new prosecutor was appointed (in Ukrainian). So, as the Republic of Crimea, which represents the another "branch of law", must be described here as the subdivision of Russia, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea must be described as the subdivion of Ukraine. They are as divisions not disputed, while the Crimea itself is. So only there the disputed status should be stated, or in both these elements --Krupolskiy Anonim (talk) 21:32, 17 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
