A lot of articles on the german Wikipedia are connected to a different Item from the corresponding articles in other languages. For example the english article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linear_density is connected to Q516372 "linear density", however the german article https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metergewicht , the subjectmatter of which is virtually identical is linked to Q56298294 which only has a label in german "Metergewicht" - "meter-weight" and not even to Q69876620 "linear mass density". These kinds of discrepancies exist in a lot of cases where the article on the german Wikipedia is describing something marginally more or less specific than those in other languages. --LonleyGhost (talk) 11:47, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

- @LonleyGhost, Liuxinyu970226: The German Wikipedia article currently called "Metergewicht" indeed seems to be about the "linear mass density". I've mentioned on the talk page there the more technical (used by the physics community) terms "lineare Massendichte" and others. I have merged the items Q56298294 and Q69876620; I had created the latter one because despite my research I had not noticed the existence of a corresponding article in the German Wikipedia, probably due to the lack of certain technical terms / aliases. - Not done Indeed, both are different physical concepts. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 13:44, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
