Die erste Version des Primary Sources Tools wurde veröffentlicht. Es stellt derzeit einige nicht überprüfte Datensätze von StrepHit IEG proposal und Freebase zur Verfügung. Dies ist vor allem für Anwender geeignet, die gerne Dinge testen und Feedback geben. Dieses Feedback ist wertvoll. Bitte Melde Probleme oder diskutiere dazu auf der Diskussionsseite. Noch besser sind pull requests!

Anwendung

Hilfe für Bearbeiter

Aktivierung über die eigenen Einstellungen. Dort einen Haken bei „Primary Sources“ setzen und die Einstellungen speichern.

Nun sollte man die Seite aktualisieren. Wikidata kann ganz normal weiter verwendet werden. Manche Objekte werden nun mit blauer Hintergrundfarbe dargestellt. Hier macht das Tool Vorschläge, die dann übernommen, überprüft oder abgelehnt werden können.

Eine weitere Möglichkeit der Benutzung ist der Punkt 'Random Primary Sources item' in der linken Navigationsleiste. Dieser öffnet ein zufälliges Objekt, um fehlende Quellen oder Aussagen zu ergänzen.

Achtung!

Standardmäßig sind alle Datensätze aktiviert, aber du kannst nur jeweils einen einzigen auswählen wenn, du auf das Zahnrad-Symbol (primary sources options) neben dem Link Random Primary Sources item im Seitenmeü klickst.

Dieser Bereich ist noch nicht fertig. Es wird Q3/2015 angepeilt.

Jede Aussage hat mindestens einen Verweis auf eine externe Webseite im Gegensatz zu den anderen verfügbaren Datensätzen. Beispielsweise kannst du auf Andrea Pirlo (Q43926) gehen, StrepHit aktivieren und participant in (P1344) mit award received (P166) vergleichen, wenn due Freebase aktivierst.
Dieser kleine Datensazt ist als Demonstration gedacht, um StrepHit IEG proposal zu unterstützen.

Architektur

Das Tool besteht aus einem Backend, was auf Wikimedia Labs läuft und einem Benutzer-Skript, das von jedem Wikidata Benutzer installiert werden kann. Achtung: Das Backend ermöglicht die Anprogrammierung von anderen Frontends!

Backend

Das Backend ist in der Lage, Daten zu laden und sie über eine Restful API jedem Frontend zu ermöglichen. Die Daten die hochgeladen werden soll, müssen vorher in dem "QuickStatements Syntax" von Magnus Manske vorbereitet werden. Das Backend speichert ebenfalls, wenn eine Erklärung abgelehnt wurde, so dass sich die Anzeige nicht wiederholt.

Benutzerscripte

Das Benutzerskript bindet sich in die Wikidata UI ein und ermöglicht ein Interagieren mit den Daten. Der Bearbeiter kann ein Statement oder einen Nachweis bestätigen, überprüfen oder ablehnen. Es gibt einen Link, der zu einem zufälligen Artikel mit offenen Anfragen führt.
